Grant County Wisconsin- On February 21, 2025, at 8:51 A.M., the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle collision that occurred on Studenberg Road in Watterstown Township.

During the investigation, the driver, Cole Cook, a 26-year-old resident of Richland Center, admitted to being disoriented and unable to recall the events leading up to the crash. Cook exhibited signs of impairment and underwent field sobriety testing, which resulted in his arrest for a second offense of operating while intoxicated (OWI).

Cook’s vehicle, a 2012 Ford Focus, sustained minor damage after exiting Studenberg Road and colliding with a tree. Fortunately, Cook sustained no injuries in the accident. The Blue River Fire Department and Terry’s Tire and Tow provided assistance to the Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
