The Winter Arts Snow Sculpting Festival in Dubuque, Iowa, is an annual event where teams of professional, amateur, and collegiate artists transform 288 cubic feet of snow into intricate sculptures. The festival, which is being held from February 6 to 9, 2025, at Washington Park, features sculpting from Thursday through Sunday noon, with community festivities on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Participants compete for a $1,000 prize, with the winner representing Iowa at the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
