…DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST FRIDAY…

* WHAT…Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.

* WHERE…Portions of north central, northwest, and west central

Illinois, east central, northeast, and southeast Iowa, and

northeast Missouri.

* WHEN…Until 6 AM CST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The dense fog will spread north of the

Highway 30 Corridor after 8 PM. Areas south of Interstate 80 may

improve from south to north after Midnight as widespread rain

moves up across the area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

If driving tonight, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty

of distance ahead of you.
