On December 18, 2024 at approximately 9:40 A.M., 64 year old David Fischer, of Boscobel, was driving his 2021 Ford F350 north on Tower Rd in Marion Township. Fischer had a fifth wheel trailer attached to the truck and as Mr. Fischer was driving down a steep hill on Tower Rd,the weight of the trail and its load pushed the truck into the ditch, causing the truck and trailer to jack-knife, due to the snow covered and slippery road. The truck received moderate damage and the trailer had minor damage. Fischer was wearing his seat belt and was not injured.
