We were fortunate to have a concerned citizen report this scam to us. With Amazon Black Friday shopping kicking off tomorrow, we anticipate similar scams affecting the area. This citizen did the correct thing by researching the contact information for the actual Amazon company and reached out to them directly. Please be extra vigilant this time of year. Many of us will be shopping online and these types of scams may make you second-guess your common sense. If it sounds wrong, it is bad. If it sounds too good to be true, it is likely also bad.
