In the early hours of November 20, 2024, Nickolas Robert Capesius, a 29-year-old resident of Zwingle, Iowa, was arrested on a warrant at the intersection of North Main Street and Market Street. Capesius faces multiple misdemeanor charges, including two counts of Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations and one count of Harassment in the First Degree. A criminal complaint was filed by the Dubuque Police in February.

The arrest occurred at approximately 4:28 AM. The charges stem from alleged assaults on individuals performing their occupational duties and an incident of harassment.
