Road Construction on 12 Mile Rd Completed Ahead of Schedule

Dubuque County , October 22, 2024 – The extensive road construction project on 12 Mile Rd, which began on September 9, 2024, has been successfully completed ahead of schedule. The project, managed by River City Paving, covered a stretch of 5.73 miles and included significant improvements to the road infrastructure.

The construction spanned from Bernard Rd, extending from Twelve Mile Rd to McDevitt Ln at the Jackson County Line, and on Twelve Mile Rd from US 151 to US 151. Despite the scale of the project, the road remained open throughout the construction period, minimizing disruption to local traffic.

As of today, River City Paving has announced that the main construction work is finished. The final step, painting the pavement markings, is set to be completed this week, marking the official end of the project.
