Dubuque Police reported a serious injury and damage to two homes following an accident involving two moving vehicles and four parked ones.

The incident occurred around 4 PM on Monday on White Street near its intersection with 21st Street.

According to the report, 34-year-old Justin Sandahl of Dubuque sideswiped a parked car, then veered across the street, hitting three more parked vehicles. One of these vehicles rolled into the path of another car driven by 74-year-old Mary Kircher of Dubuque, causing her to swerve and hit a porch on White Street.

Another parked vehicle also rolled across the street and struck the porch of a different home. Both homes sustained approximately $60,000 in damage each.

Sandahl was transported to Finley Hospital for treatment, while Kircher was uninjured. Charges against Sandahl are pending, and no citations were issued to Kircher.
