The air demonstration across the river was a major disappointment for many people in Dubuque. Despite the hype, only one modern aircraft showed up – the A-10 Warthog. The rest of the show consisted of a P-51 Mustang and a few stunt planes, leaving attendees feeling let down and unsatisfied.

The US Army Chinook helicopter was showcased, as well as the Mercy One medic helicopter. Both of these impressive aircraft were on display for attendees to see up close and learn more about. These helicopters serve important roles in the military and emergency medical services, respectively.
In absence, the F-22’s absence left many attendees disappointed at the Dubuque airshow, which was held across the river. The absence of the highly anticipated aircraft left a void in the event and many were left disappointed. Hopefully, the organizers will be able to secure the F-22 for next year’s airshow, making it a more successful and thrilling event for all.
