Shortly after midnight on June 10, 2024, Grant County Sheriff’s deputies attempted a traffic stop on a Case IH 7130 tractor pulling a disc plow.

The tractor was driven by Chad L. Klein of Cassville, Wisconsin. Klein, who was wanted on multiple Grant County warrants and a DOC warrant, led the deputies on a five-mile pursuit before stopping at a farm in Glen Haven Township. Klein then attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended by the deputies. He was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Grant County Jail. Charges are pending following the pursuit.

The deputies received assistance from the Glen Haven First Responders and Cassville EMS.
