Kyle Kutsch, 26, was arrested on Saturday, December 16, 2023, in connection with an accident. Kutsch is accused of driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway (M) and seriously injuring someone by vehicle (F)

The Dubuque County Sheriff’s office had reported that a crash occurred Sunday morning November 5th, on Balltown Road, resulting in severe injuries to multiple individuals. The incident took place in Sherrill, just prior to 2:30 a.m., when two vehicles collided head-on. Both drivers were subsequently transported to Mercy hospital.

According to the Sheriff deputies, the driver of one car was identified as Kyle Kutsch, a 26-year-old resident of Sherrill. The other vehicle involved was driven by Rebecca Scherbring, a 45-year-old resident of Dubuque. Due to the severity of their injuries, both individuals are expected to be transferred to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
