This morning, the Dubuque County Sheriff’s office reported a serious crash that occurred this morning on Balltown Road in Sherrill. The incident took place shortly before 2:30 a.m. when two cars collided head-on, resulting in severe injuries to several individuals involved.

Following the collision, all occupants from both vehicles were immediately transported to Mercy hospital for immediate medical attention. However, due to the severity of their injuries, it is anticipated that they will be transferred to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics later on for further treatment and specialized care.

As of now, the cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department.

The names of the injured parties have not yet been disclosed by the sheriff’s office.
