On Sunday October 22 the Platteville PD took possession of a firearm that someone found laying in their front yard. We have not been able to locate the owner of the firearm and are hopeful that this post will assist us in doing so. There are several other items with the firearm that are distinguishable and can assist with identifying the owner. If you or someone you know has lost or misplaced a gun, please reach out to us.
