10-13-2023 DIP NEWS

Approximately 8:12 AM on 10/13/2023, the 911 Dispatch Center of the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one vehicle traffic crash that occurred along North Elizabeth-Scales Mound Road approximately 375 feet north of West Elizabeth, on Rawlings Road. 

Jeremy A. Rehor was driving a blue 1999 Dodge Dakota southbound on North Elizabeth-Scales Mound Road when he lost control as he attempted to negotiate a corner in the roadway. Rehor’s vehicle then veered off the roadway to the east and collided with a guardrail. The Elizabeth Ambulance Service transported Rehor to Dubuque Mercy Hospital for medical treatment.

A passenger died in the crash . There were no other passengers in the vehicle at the time The identity of the deceased passenger has been withheld until proper family notifications can be made.

Currently, this crash is under investigation.
