A BASEBALL EXPERIENCE

AUGUST 11-13, 2023

Beyond the Game is an Iowa Baseball Experience that celebrates the baseball heritage of the area. Normally taking place in downtown Dyersville, the 2023 event will be held at the world-famous Field of Dreams Movie Site from August 11-13. Featuring a game between the USA Patriots and Ghost Players, autograph sessions with sports celebrities, a home run exhibition, and a ACO Pro-Am Cornhole tournament with the American Cornhole Organization who is hosting their Go The Distance Festival throughout the weekend.

3:00 pm: American Cornhole Organization Team Qualifier 2

6:30 pm: USA Patriots Game vs Ghost Players

SATURDAY, AUGUST 12

9:30 am: American Cornhole Organization Team Qualifier 3

10:00 am: American Cornhole Organization Corny Forty Classic Singles Tournament

3:00 pm: American Cornhole Organization Team Qualifier 4

5:00 pm: Pro-Am Cornhole Tournament

SUNDAY, AUGUST 13

10:00 am: American Cornhole Organization Dream Team Invitational Finals

For those who do not know what Cornhole is. It’s a lawn game where players take turns throwing bean bags at a raised, angled board with a hole in the far end. The object of the game is to be the first team to score 21 points. Players score by throwing their bag onto the opposite side board or into the hole.
