Music In The Park

Saturday, July 8, 2023

Teenagers gathered at the Asbury Iowa Park Music in the Park festival to enjoy the festivities. They enjoyed listening to the live music, people-watching, and playing games. Many of the teens were dressed in their summer best and laughed and danced together to the music. The festival was a great way for the teens to connect and make memories together.
The Asbury Fire Department has a fleet of emergency vehicles including fire engines, and ambulances. On display at the music in the park festival. The vehicle is equipped with the latest safety and response equipment, as well as communication and navigation systems to ensure that firefighters and first responders can respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies.

Corton Brokus, 15, spoke to us about why he was at Asbury Park at today’s event. “It’s pretty fun to see how the community came together.” He loves seeing the goats and all the farm animals.

Colt Becker, 14, on the left, told us the reason he was at the park was to see all his friends, family and all the farm animals.
Asbury Police Officers are patrolling the park, providing a visible presence and keeping the community safe during the Asbury Music In The Park. They are also ensuring that all attendees are following the park’s regulations and safety guidelines.

Everyone was in a festive mood, there were face painting, and games scattered around the park. The music blared and everyone sang along. It was a wonderful day for all who attended, and the children were especially delighted with all the fun activities.
