The bill proposed would require cities to get permission from the department of transportation to implement them, post warning signs, and only speeding warnings could be given out.

The way the bill is written, cities would make no revenue from the cameras, and they would be footing the full bill for them.

As of April 28th, the legislature could extend its session, and the bill is still in committee.
