Dubuque’s dispatch received a call of a fire. Dubuque Fire crews arrived at the scene and found smoke coming from the building around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The fire was discovered in the basement and fire crews deployed a hose line. Additional crews responded to the scene and deployed a back-up line and searched the floors. Once the fire was out, they overhauled the building to limit smoke and fire spread.

The fire is currently being investigated by the Dubuque Fire Marshal’s Office. The Dubuque Fire Department was assisted on scene by the Dubuque Police Department. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
