Update: A few hours into the search the Dubuque county sheriffs deputies have located the little girl at the Sportsmans and she is now safe.

They are now deploying a drone in the area for the search.

The Holy Cross Fire Department is assisting Clayton county at the county line for a five-year-old female that is missing. Clayton sheriff’s deputies and personnel are on the scene.

The search is underway North of 4236 Heiderscheit Road. The search teams are gathering at the rock quarry off of Tollgate Avenue.
