Around 11:39 p.m. last night, an accident occurred on Lake Eleanor Road. IA subject driving a Jeep passed a GMC Yukon and failed to make the curve traveling in a field. The Yukon traveled further down the road before crashing into a ditch, turning over.
The driver of the Yukon was checked out by Key West EMS on scene, but refused treatment. The driver of the Jeep was transported to Mercy One Medical Center with serious injuries and later transported to University of Iowa City Hospital.
