Randall Heine, age 30, has been ordered to appear January 23rd in a Dubuque County District Court room to enter a plea to the charges against him.

On New Year’s Eve Heine broke into the home of Zachary Schmitt where his wife was staying. Heine pointed a gun at Schmitt, pulled the trigger and the weapon didn’t fire. Heine’s wife convinced him to give up the weapon and he left. Dubuque Police arrested him shortly after he left.
