Dubuque Police arrested Bradly Heine, 30, of Dubuque, around 2:20 a.m. this morning who was angry and drove to a friend’s residence while intoxicated with a gun. He then broke into the home on Olympic Heights Road where his wife was staying.

He then got into an argument with his wife and friend, pointing the gun at him and pulling the trigger. After the gun didn’t fire, Hein left the gun on the table and left the residents. He was later arrested a short distance from the home.

Hein is charged with 1) Domestic Assault/with Intent or weapon (M), 2) Attempted Murder (F), 3) Burglary 1st Degree—Burglary/breaking and entering (F), 4) Possession/carrying a dangerous weapon while intoxicated (M), 5) Use of a dangerous weapon in the commission of a dangerous crime (M), and 6) Owl 1st Offense (M), at 1 Olympic Hts/Central Ave.
