Court Records on Iowa Courts Online Show that Dubuque County District Court Judge Thomas Bitter sentenced Peter Weaver, 19, to five years probation and an order for lavasious acts with a minor under 14 and an order prohibiting him from having a gun. He is also ordered to pay court costs and register as a sex offender for 10 years. Due to a plea deal, Bitter dropped charges of 3rd-degree sexual abuse and dissemination of obscene material to a minor.
A Dubuque Officer working at a Dubuque School noticed the relationship between Weaver and a 14-year-old girl at a Dubuque School. After further investigation, the officers discovered evidence of texting between the two and sexual content.
