Dubuque Police and a Iowa State Probation Officer were issuing a warrant in the 2200 block of Jackson Street for Cory Michael Jones 25, for failure to appear on felony arrest. Jones resisted and became combative and a stun gun was deployed by a Officer.

An ambulance was called to the scene to check on the condition of Jones who has a heart condition and was transported to a Dubuque hospital where he was checked out and released into custody.

Two of Jones’s family members were charged with interference with official acts and released.
