To all Dubuque County residents: There is a scam going around the area stating the caller is an investigator contacting the victim in regards to missed jury duty. The victim is then being advised to purchase a gift card and provide that information to the “investigator” (scammer). We would like to remind everyone that government business is not conducted through the use of gift cards.
