Johnny T Web III plead guilty to the charge of reckless use of a firearm after the first day of court.
On New Year’s Day 2020 a disturbance started at the Venue on Main Street around 1:30 a.m. Police responded and by the time they got there, it was broken up.
The fight moves from the 200 block of Main Street to 19th and Jackson Street. A male subject arrives in the area in the 1800 block of Jackson wearing a hoodie when shots are fired and everyone takes off from the area.
Dubuque officers investigating the scene find shells and damage to two homes that were occupied.
Dubuque Police after the further investigation came up with the shooter using the city’s camera system. The shooter was identified as Johnny Web III. Police got a search warrant to check his phone, and there was a photo of him in the same hoodie sweater and text messages related to the incident.
A sentencing hearing was today.
