At approximately 11:08 A.M. on 07/31/22, the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single motorcycle crash with injuries on E Stagecoach Trail approximately 600 feet north of N Hayes Road in rural Apple River. It learned that the driver of the motorcycle, Scott WN. Sigler of Kenosha, WI, was westbound on Stagecoach Trail tov Apple River. As Sigler rounded a curve in the roadway, Sigler’s motorcycle lost control when it went over some gravel in the roadway. Sigler’s motorcycle went off the right side of the roadway where it entered a ditch and ejected Sigler from his motorcycle. Sigler was transported by Warren Area EMS to Lafayette County Memorial Hospital Darlington, WI for treatment of his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
