Bus Strikes Fuel Pump
On July 15th 2022, at approximately 4:22 pm, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a crash with property damage at the BP Station in the Village of Cassville.

After a brief investigation, it was determined that Jason Otte, 41, of Cassville was operating a 2001 International 3000 Bus that was pulling a boat. Otte pulled into the BP Station to get some fuel. Otte pulled up next to one of the fuel pumps but was out of position to get fuel, so he attempted to back up to reposition. While attempting to reposition, the bus struck the fuel pump, causing damage to the fuel pump.

There were no injuries reported. Otte was able to remove the bus, and it sustained minor—functional damage.
