Motorcycle Crash with Injury
On June 10, 2022, at approximately 10:45am, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a one vehicle motorcycle crash on Hwy 81 near City Y located in the Township of Cassville.

John Bragg, age 43 from Monroe, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 81 in his 2002 Honda Shadow. Bragg was negotiating a curve and lost control of his motorcycle by confusing the break and clutch lever. Bragg went off the road on the south side of the road and crashed in the ditch. Bragg was wearing leathers, but no helmet, was transported to Grant Regional Health Center due to a head injury. Cassville EMS and the Cassville Fire Department, assisted the Grant County Sheriff’s Office A personal vehicle and trailer removed the motorcycle from the scene.
