The City of Dubuque is now welcoming applications from residents for the next session of City Life, Dubuque’s fun, free, and interactive experience of local government. Applications will be accepted until Monday, March 16.
City Life participants have the opportunity to learn more about City operations and services which make Dubuque a great place to live, work, and play. Through presentations, behind-the-scenes tours, and conversations with neighbors, residents see taxpayer investments at work and are able to share their thoughts and input.
The City Life program consists of six in-person sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings this spring (March 24, 26, and 31, and April 2, 7, and 9) beginning at 6 p.m. Dinner will be provided to all participants at each session. Applicants who would like additional information on accommodations for dietary restrictions, transportation, and childcare can contact the Office of Community Impact and Neighborhood Support by calling 563-564-5644.
“We design City Life so participants leave with new insights that help them become more engaged residents,” says Community Engagement Coordinator Temwa Phiri, who leads the sessions. “Whether you’ve lived in Dubuque your whole life or recently moved here, we’re confident you’ll discover something new about your city.”
