The Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded at 5:20 p.m. to Highway 35/61 near Badgerland Auto in Paris Township.

Shawn Dietzel, 28, of Cuba City, drove an International 886 tractor northbound. Gary Ledbury, 74, of Potosi, followed in a 2007 Chevrolet Aveo.

Ledbury failed to see the tractor and rear-ended it, causing the tractor to roll into the ditch and onto its side.

Both drivers suffered injuries and were taken to hospitals.

Dickeyville EMS and Fire Department, Potosi EMS, Jamestown First Responders, Guy’s Towing and Service, and Donnie’s Tire and Tow assisted.

The crash remains under investigation.
