Please avoid the Locust/Dodge St. intersection if possible due to an accident and weather-related traffic control equipment issue.

Avoid the area near the intersection of Locust St. and Dodge St. (U.S. Highway 20) in downtown Dubuque, if possible. Traffic signals in the area are not fully functional and are flashing red lights in all directions. Drivers who do approach the intersection should treat it like a four-way stop and:

• Come to a complete stop
• Yield the right-of-way to any pedestrians or other vehicles
• Proceed through the intersection when safe to do so

Emergency responders and City staff are at the intersection working to repair the signals. Please follow the instructions or directions of law enforcement in the area.
