Dubuque, IA – September 11, 2025 – Authorities in Dubuque took a 34-year-old l man into custody early Thursday morning on a felony charge of going armed with intent to use a dangerous weapon against another person.

Taylor Jordan D., a male, was arrested at approximately 12:04 a.m. at 620 Iowa St., near the city’s bustling downtown area. The charge, classified as a Class D felony under Iowa Code Section 708.8, carries potential penalties of up to five years in prison and fines reaching $7,500 upon conviction.

According to the Dubuque Police Department’s daily bulletin, the arrest stemmed from an incident where officers responded to reports of a potential threat involving a weapon.
