DUBUQUE, IA – Tyler Matthew Barber, a 27-year-old resident, is facing legal proceedings following his arrest on June 4, 2025, under case number 01311 FECR159774 in Dubuque County. Barber was apprehended at 5:50 a.m. at 770 Iowa St on a felony charge of Child Endangerment – Meth Exposure, as reported by the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department.

Court filings reveal a series of legal actions initiated as early as May 21, 2025, with multiple criminal complaints filed by the Sheriff’s Department. An arrest warrant was issued on May 30, 2025, following an order from Judge Mark T. Hostager, and was served on June 4, 2025. That same day, Judge Kellyann M. Lekar issued an order for discovery, while Judge Hostager imposed a no-contact order, with comments indicating “CC PRTP-NVA.” Criminal Case. Pre Trial Diversion Program. and Non Violent Action

Barber’s initial court appearance is scheduled for June 16, 2025, at 10:50 a.m. in courtroom 3106, where a preliminary hearing will take place. He has been released on a $5,000 unsecured bond. The case continues to unfold as authorities and the court address the serious allegations involved.
