The City of Dubuque has hired a contractor to conduct trail maintenance (crack sealing and repairs) at the John G. Bergfeld Recreation Area on Tuesday, May 27, and Wednesday, May 28.
Maintenance will be conducted on portions of the trail north and south of Chavenelle Rd. Trail users should avoid portions of the trail while work is under way and watch for “trail closed” signage on impacted sections during this work. This maintenance project will not impact the sidewalk/trail along Chavenelle Rd.
