DUBUQUE, IA – On February 18, 2025, at approximately 6:40 a.m., Nicole Marie Hefel, 48, was arrested at the Dubuque law-enforcement center at 770 Iowa Street in Dubuque, Iowa, following an incident in the 700 block of Rhomberg Ave. that led to multiple charges. The arrest was reported by Officer R.J. Neumann of the Dubuque Police Department.
Hefel faces charges including:
- Burglary in the Third Degree (Felony) – Accused of unlawfully entering a property with intent to commit a crime.
- Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree (Felony) – Allegedly causing damage to property valued between $1,500 and $10,000.
- Warrant Out of Jurisdiction (Misdemeanor) – Two separate misdemeanor warrants from jurisdictions outside Dubuque.
According to the report a roof valued at $5000.00 was damaged. $2100.00 in cash was taken and 20!cigarettes valued at $50.00
Hefel is currently in custody and being held on a $10,000 cash surety bond and $ 2000 cash bond for out-of-state warrants.
