central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Light snow and snow showers will continue to fall over northeast
Iowa and northwest Illinois through early Friday morning. 1 to 2
inches of snow is anticipated over the Highway 20 corridor, with
amounts under 1 inch farther south. Visibilities with snow and any
drifting snow will be lowest late this evening, as a strong cold
front arrives, bringing northwest wind gusts to 35 mph and falling
temperatures into the teens and 20s. Any wet roads will freeze up
later this evening when this cold air arrives.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

Snow covered roads may continue through the morning commute Friday
in northeast Iowa and northwest Illinois.
