The S. Grandview Ave. bridge over U.S. Highways 61/151 is scheduled to re-open this weekend, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT).
The DOT has informed the City of Dubuque the bridge replacement project is nearing completion. The DOT anticipates the bridge will re-open to traffic by 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23.
The S. Grandview Ave. Bridge has been closed since March for the DOT’s replacement project. The project included demolition of the previous bridge, as well as construction of a new span across U.S. Highways 61/151.
