The Dubuque Regional Humane Society (DRHS) is thrilled to announce a unique community event, and we hope Dubuque in Pursuit News can help spread the word! The Paws on Patrol calendar contest is now open for public voting, featuring local first responders posing with adoptable animals from DRHS to raise critical funds.

This heartwarming contest includes local heroes from various groups such as the Asbury Police Department, Dubuque Fire/EMS, Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department, Dubuque Police Department, Peosta Police Department, and several others. Each $1 vote supports the DRHS mission, providing essential care and resources for animals in need.

Voting is open until November 17, 2024, and the top 12 photos will earn a spot in the 2025 calendar. This is a fantastic opportunity to support both our local first responders and the animals they are helping to find forever homes.
