The Grant County Sheriff’s Department reports that six vehicles were damaged as a result of a crash that occurred on Highway 151 near Kieler on December 6th. The accident occurred around 8 o’clock am. when a car driven by 20-year-old Zoee Weber of Dubuque attempted to pass an SUV driven by 63-year-old Vincent Simonini of Cassville.

Weber’s car reportedly swerved into Simonini’s, which caused Simonini’s vehicle to go off the road, over an embankment, and through a chain link fence at the rear of Southwest Health’s Kieler Clinic. As a result, Simonini’s vehicle struck four other parked vehicles.

Both Simonini and his wife, 64-year-old Kelly Simonini, had to be taken by a private vehicle to the hospital to be checked for possible injuries.

Weber was cited for Failure to Maintain Control of a Motor Vehicle.

Five of the six cars involved in the crash had to be towed away due to damage.
