Vehicle hits Road Closed Sign

Yea On July 25, 2022, at approximately 2:59 pm, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one vehicle crash on US Highway 61 at County B.

Stephanie J. Evanchik (26) of Fennimore traveling north on 61 struck a road closed sign causing extensive damage to her Ford Focus while in the north bound lane when she looked at county B for approaching traffic. Evanchik was not injured . The owner towed his vehicle.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Potosi Fire Department and the Grant County Highway Department.
