Davon Cornwell 17, was sentence to 1 year in the Dubuque Correctional Facility and has to complete the program to earn release and 5 years probation, and any violation could result in his original ten year sentence after taking a plea deal.

In July Cornwell got into a fight with a 16 year old male subject and shot him in Hardee’s Parking lot on Rhomberg Ave seriously injuring him.

Cornwell was arrested August 6th, and charged with interference of official act while armed with a gun and possession cannabis and was latter charged with trafficking stolen guns.
